WHAT ANIMAL IS IT?
Cat claws retract and do not show in a pawprint. Dog claws are
non-retractible and are visible. As diagrammed above the leopard's paw
is typical of cats - with claws retracted. The cheetah's paw, showing
the mark of unsheathed partially retractible claws, is more like that of
a dog.
